Astrology has played a significant role in my life and my art since 2020. It has helped me feel more comfortable in my own skin as an artist and as a human.
Saturn Return 2 is part of a two-piece exploration I created during my Saturn return, a time when the planet Saturn returns back to the same position it was when you were born.
I painted the two pieces side by side. For this piece, I allowed myself to experiment for the first time with oil pastels, which you can see the freehand strokes in teal and yellow.
