Prototype 01

This piece is another example of trusting my ideas and just creating them. I had this idea to make a curved canvas towards the viewer - to create what I call a "whole body viewing experience." So here we are, putting my past experiences to work to hand build this curved structure for a canvas. The color choice was obvious for me, using my favorite blue at the time that capture depth, changes color in different lighting, and shimmers with textures from different angles. I also want this piece to look different over time, so that the viewer gets a new experience over the years. New colors, lights, textures, symbolism, and more.
