Julian’s painting is very special for me. He did a custom piece featuring a special story about my solo row across the Pacific in 2020. We auctioned it on social, with proceeds going to a nonprofit that I run. Then I was lucky enough that the winner gave me the painting, and it’s been on my wall ever since

It was clear from the start that Julian puts all care into both his art and the buying process. The certificate of authenticity that comes with it is a valuable touch that verifies the piece’s history, and the whole experience was smooth and professional. I hope to have this painting the rest of my life.

My wife Susan and I own a lot of art. In fact, so many pieces that we can no longer display more than half of them as we recently downsized from a very large house to a very small apartment. Much of our collection includes work from internationally recognized artists but among the original art that we chose to display are two wonderful paintings that we purchased from Julian Castro.

Not only are these paintings beautiful, actually stunning, but doing business with Julian is an absolute pleasure. It’s easy to communicate with him, he delivered the art well wrapped, provided advice on placement, and complete documentation of authenticity. After recently moving, we decided to purchase a special art piece for our new home, and after seeing Julian’s creations we knew we were talking to the right person! Julian delivered the Onda piece himself.

It fit in so perfectly into our home, tying together our color scheme and the beautiful views of the beach it overlooks.

We’ve been complimented on it numerous times by guests. We even setup a display light to bring it more to life.

We already have our eyes set on other pieces for future rooms in our home.

My commissioned pieces from Julian were intentionally chosen as Dream Portals to bring the peace, wonder, and joy I was seeking in my bedroom.
