Archival quality print of the base layer of my oil painting, "Gemini".
For each of the Zodiac Series paintings, I first painted a base layer with acrylic paint. This acts as a sort of sealing layer on the canvas, for the oil paint to last longer on the piece. Instead of the typical white base layer, I decided to paint each base layer as a representation of the sign.
Capturing layers of paintings on camera before painting over them. I think it's cool that this image only exists digitally or in print, but no longer in physical form... except knowing that it is under the final layer of paint on the painting.
Original piece is 30" x 40" oil on canvas.

To provide a more affordable option for more people to have great art in their homes, all prints are currently shipped without a frame.
